Matuwa and Arlington Junior Primary Schools just opened for their second term. For many, school is a happy place to be. Students receive a quality education with caring teachers, and two meals a day. Some of these students just learned they were sponsored while on holidays and are filled with joy. For $40 per month, you can impact the direction of a child’s future and their community.
We dedicated the month of April to focus on our health care program. The Beatrice Tierney Health Clinics provide essential and critical services to the students and the communities we serve in Bududa and Namisindwa districts. Clinics are a lifeline for the people we serve in this region.
Our volunteers on the Teacher Trip led by Marymount University Professor Dr. Elizabeth Langran have arrived in Uganda to conduct teacher training workshops for our teachers at Arlington and Matuwa Junior Schools and the outreach schools.
A new academic year has started in Uganda! Arlington Junior School opened on February 6th. Our secondary and tertiary students also resumed their classes in February.
Your support last year allowed us to successfully run our education, healthcare and community development programs in Uganda. More than 1,000 students are enrolled in our primary, secondary and tertiary education programs.
