Great news! We’re happy to report that the 2023 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) results are in, and all of our students at Arlington Junior School ( AJS) and Matuwa Junior School (MJS) have passed!

An Arlington Academy of Hope (AAH) student, Bruno Wamono’s passion for agriculture has landed him a lifetime opportunity – an 11-month apprenticeship in Israel!
The long awaited dream for many children and people in Eastern Uganda is about to become a reality. Co-founders John and Joyce Wanda were onsite on August 12 to participate in a colorful groundbreaking ceremony for the Arlington Secondary and Vocational School in Kikholo town, Bududa district in Uganda.
For over 19 years now, REACH for Uganda and our sister organization in Uganda, the Arlington Academy of Hope, have worked hard to lift education standards in eastern Uganda. Our two primary schools have an enrollment of over 800 students each year, providing untold opportunities for hundreds of kids who would otherwise not have a chance to advance.
Matuwa and Arlington Junior Primary Schools just opened for their second term. For many, school is a happy place to be. Students receive a quality education with caring teachers, and two meals a day. Some of these students just learned they were sponsored while on holidays and are filled with joy. For $40 per month, you can impact the direction of a child’s future and their community.
