Amy Angel has extensive experience in the volunteer sector — as an organizer, resource builder, and educator over the past thirty five years. She organized an arts program for teenagers from the ground up through its establishment as a 501c 3 organization, and has contributed her time to and managed several volunteer service and action organizations. She is skilled at connecting people, building resources, and has an abiding commitment to empowerment and education for all. Amy has been involved with Reach for Uganda since its inception and with her husband, Jim, has sponsored many children. Amy received her BA in Sociology from the University of California at Berkeley and her MS in Counseling from San Francisco State University. She is married to James Angel with whom she has five adult children.
