Beatrice Tierney Stradling

Beatrice is the founder and CEO of Children’s International Schools. CIS was established in 1985 as an early childhood program for children between the ages of two to five. CIS operates four sites in the Arlington/Alexandria area. Since 2001, Beatrice has managed the Foreign Service Institute Day Care Center, which was initiated by Secretary of State Colin Powell. She is a member of many international organizations and has volunteered in many countries helping to start programs for children and the elderly. Beatrice holds a BA Degree from Dunbarton College and a Master’s Degree from Catholic University in Washington, D.C. Beatrice has visited Uganda five times and sponsors several students on the program. She is the inspiration behind AAH’s Health clinics.
